This is the blog we had for our Autumn 2007 Japan trip. It’s been half a year now since we were in Japan, and all four of us participants are longing to go there once again. And we are. This time though, our group will be a little different – what is sure, is that I and Pabu are going there in the same group. Bun, I believe, was planning a new trip there this summer, with Mira. We however, are going there in Spring 2009, a year from now. Pabu is also going to try and get his gf, Merituulia to come with. Saara is also coming too, if she can scratch the money for it. If there’s someone else wanting to come along, we’ll still welcome them, since it’d be ideal to travel in a goup of 3-6.
Why in the summer this time? While I believe that we were a tad too early to see the true beauty of Japan’s Autumn, and therefore I’d like to go there again in Autumn, this time we’d really like to witness the famous cherry blossoms in bloom.
For us Finns, Japan in Spring and Autumn is most tolerable, if we think of it weather wise. Especially for me, since I can’t take high heat very well – I surely realized that in Spain in 2005. (I was there with my two sisters – they seemed to be okay, but I’d get headaches and I couldn’t sleep well at night.) Also, I don’t want to spend a holiday in a too cold weather, nor rainy.
Time to start planning for year 2009!

ooh. mä olisin niin, hm, honored, jos voisin tulla mukaan. huimaa jo pelkkä ajatuskin. olis ihan valtavan hienoa (ainakin minun kantilta katsottuna, haha). ppuuh. (okei, tähän huimaamiseen saattaa vaikuttaa myös tää äsken iskenyt kuume ja heikotus, mutta…)
